Im sure they have been around for a very long time just obviously not in the forefront. I think I use to hear about cams from this company for the old Corolla Gts (AE86 i think) back in the day.. Not sure.. Either way if the cams have done so well in the testing, why havent they put some advertisement into them to get them out there?

yo guys are crazy WEB cams are a good company definetly in the fore front when honda first came to the game.
Exactly..... They havent made their presence known recently IMO, cuz if thats the case this thread wouldnt of been created. Im in no way saying that they are a BS company. They just arent shining in the Honda game like they used to.

They are the same company that produces bullfrog cams back when there were only people racing single cams in the US.
Ok. That's what I thought.......

I want to say I heard there cams don't utilize the VTC gear. So that would mean they are more of a race type cam and taht's why people haven't heard much about them...

I called and the secretary that ansewered said they don't deal with that just the cams. I tried to explain it better to her and she asked me to E-mail it to her so she could ask one of her tech guys...

I'll let you know when they get back to me...

i knew i've seen that name b4! I had to dig into my favorite Modified Mag to find it, but look at the nov 06 issue (my fav b/c of the Imola Orange civic on the cover/Hybird Racing's). The Black type-s (Big Block Stealth Bomber) w/ the k24a2 swap has a set of custom webcam cams. this motor made 254 & 202 to the wheels. the guys name was Kenneth "Turtle" Lau.

Debbie,

I spoke to you earlier and you asked me to forward my technical question to your E-mail…

I was just wondering if the cams you guys offer for the RSX were designed with the OEM VTC mechanism usage in mind? It is the oil pressure driven Cam gear that is operated via the computer, used to retard or advance the cams throughout the RPM range (50 degree gear, 25 degree retard or advance). Just wondering as it changes the valve to valve and valve to piston clearances during operation, and if not than maybe a mechanical style set cam gear would need to be used…

Thanks Jon Verity

Over the years I have used WEB cams in several cars. An the wear/failure rate was kinda high, out of 6 sets of cams, 4 failed or had excessive wear within 25K miles.

Most of their cams are regrinds..............
