I want to say yes, But I am not 100% sure. I'd say I'm 90% sure it not only has been done but works.

They're the same, the picture makes them look diffrent because they're mounted on a 45 degree angle on the cylinder head.

i'm in the same boat, i think u can, dont see y, but would the harness plug up to the rsx-s 03 ecu??

I have the K24A1 and K20A2 combination myself, and that is correct. The only sensor that needs to be replaced is the Knock sensor.

I'm wondering if I need to swap out my knock sensor. I have a 06 Si engine. Noticed the part number was 30530-PRC-003... The PRC part is making me think it's the same knock sensor as the one found on the K20A (DC5 ITR) engine.

And while I'm asking questions, I take it that the VTC Spool valve assembly found on the 06 Civic Si (15810-PRB-A03) is interchangable with the 15810-PRB-A01 since it's listed as an alternative for the TSX?

-Timing Chain Tensioner
02-07 CRV - 14510-PNA-003 (K24A1 and K24Z1)
03-07 Accord - 14510-PNA-003 (K24A4 and K24A8)
02-06 RSX Base - 14510-PNA-003 (K20A3)
03-07 Element - 14510-RAA-A01 (K24A4)

02-06 RSX-S - 14510-PRB-A01 (K20A2 and K20Z1)
04-07 TSX - 14510-PRB-A01 (K24A2)
06-07 Civic Si - 14510-PRB-A01 (K20Z3)

is there a major difference between those 2 ?
would it be better to use the PRB timing chain tensioner in a k24/k20 swap ?
better oil pressure, reliability or i dont know ?
if they all use the prb in the "real" vtec setups is it a must in a k24/k20 ?
anyone using k24 one without problems?
thanks

I have the stock CRV tensioner in my K24A1/K20A2 frank setup with no issues whatsoever.

all right
so what ill do
is take my k20a2 timing chian tensioner put it in my k24/k20 and put the k24 tensioner on the k20 block
jsut to be safe since itll be a 330whp setup i want the best
and the k20 block wont see the difference if you say you use the k24 tensioner without issues
good idea?

btw ive just learned that i needed to change the knock sensor and crank sensor to fit my wiring... glad i readed that before selling the k20 block :p
for the knock sensor its ok
but for the crank sensor im still confused...
cause my friend builded a few and he says that the k24 sensor fits on the k20 wiring harness
whats the differences between them ?
length? pinout? connector?
cause i have one that came with my k24 chain case cover and another one on my k20 chain case
wich one should i use
cause if the k24 one is longer i could not use the k20 one ....

quick question about cam (tdc) sensor oem part # 37510-PNB-003

according to this you need 2 of them (but they look completely different in the diagram) - part #6

In relation to this, I noticed that the 06 Civic Si uses two different camshaft TDC sensors...

Noticed this when trying to move my wiring from my blown RSX block to my 06 Civic Si block.
