It's on the front of the transmission. Held on by two bolts.

Hey there K20 peeps,

+1 to the OP, nice list here!

Yes, I'm new here, I tried a search and found some info but . . .

I need a hand in figuring some things out . . .

What are the issues regarding a K20Z3 (07 Honda Civic SI) swap in an EG. I see most are going with the K20A and K20A2. I do know I'll need a RSX-S engine harness. Is the Z3 the wrong motor to go with? Well I already have it, complete swap, axles and intermediate shaft, shift box with cables, engine harness, charge harness, ECU etc, so what do do?! Since I've been reading a bunch of threads on the A and A2, I'm a little discouraged so far, if I have the wrong motor, I'll be even more discouraged. Is what I have workable?

I would have made a thread, but mabe I don't have enough posts, the site wont let me start a new one.

Sorry to thread jack, if so considered.

someone else step in here and lemme know if i'm off..

but i believe the only thing you need is an RSX cable throttle body. because the FG is DBW... other than that major difference right there, the motors are really the same..

the only other thing I think that could be off is header mounting.. but I'm not sure think they are the same.

I strongly suggest you budget about 8k-10k for the complete swap. I have my hands on the engine and tranny, but there are a lot of other "knick-knacks" i've had to track down :)
He speaks the truth. 8k-10k is a reasonable budget to plan for, K-swaps have been done in the past for around 6k but you need to get some amazing deals to pull that off.

absolutely, Froth. this surely is great post/thread. Learnt a lot from your posts.

A great post!!!

two question.. hope don't stupid...

In my case.. I'm building a race EG/k20 and i need to buy a fuel cell and fuel pump and build a new steel fuel line too.. SO.. is posible to buy some model of pump that leaves me to use the stock K20A fuel rail and fittings?? to save the rail change..

And the other big question...

My car has destroyed the wheel hubs... i think to buy a ITr hubs for 5 stud conversion and some more wheelbase... can it work with the usual EG swap axles for sale?? or is imposible make a K20 swap in EG chasis with DC hubs?

thanksss and i hope comprehension

Fuel question:

If you are builiding a race car, I 110% hope that you are upgrading EVERYTHING when it comes to fuel. Do not cheap out on that stuff because it will cost you more money in the end...

For your axle fitment question:

If the HUBS of the ITR 5-lug and the EG are the SAME then yes, you should have no problems with fitting those swap axles.

From what I can remember though, the Integra and the Civic have different size HUBS I believe so it WILL NOT work.

hi guys! i received some answer at the end..

About the fuel rail... I'm thinking to use the stock ones cause I will mount the stock motor without upgrades at the begining. I have some friend racing with civics R here and they don't need to change it if they don't make bigs modifications.. is for that... if i can to avoid the rail change is better for my budget proyect.I see to change the fuel line of the car, the fuel tank and fuel pump is necessary for safety but if i can do in that way to mantain the stock fuel rail is better for me. I deal, in a street car that you must to respect the stock lines and tank for legality you need to adapt the rail system to it. But being forced to change the system i prefer to buy the ones to work with the stock motor saving unnecessary expenses.

If for that i have that question.

About the wheel hubs... i have the thread almost solved

thanks for the information!!

People have tried. It does not work, seemingly the only sensor that K-pro recognizes is the 02-04 RSX-S.
