Let me start of by thanking Jeff for the sick two piece IC piping and amazing tune, Andrea for all the guidance she has provided me, Geoff and Full-Race for the amazing products they make, Bill (NJslvrtypes) for all the knowledge he has shared and countless hours of help, and all the people that have helped me get here. Well onto graphs and pics. The final whp number was 653.8 whp and Evans said without the recirculated dump I would have seen about 30 more, but the car is better with it (quiet and controls boost creep).

god damn. how many people make this comment.

a dynapack dyno bolts to the hub yes, but it applies real life load to the wheels as it goes, therefore being WHP.

the dynapacks in my area read LOWER than the dynojets....i'm sure other people will agree.

p.s. not to mention that you would think the difference in hub hp and whp on this car would be 150 HP ?? where have you ever seen that big a discrepency ?

i dont think so u can ask anybody dynopak reads way higher than a dyno jet dynopak is garbage i wouldnt put a junk car on it thats my opion

all dyno's read different... my dynapack reads almost exactly the same as our dynojet224x, which is about 10hp lower than a local dynojet 248h and about 30hp lower than another local dynojet 248h.

think all dynapacks read high.... RLZ's street car went 9.6x at 150-152mph making right at 700hp on the dynapack.

quit ur bitching about different dynos

a dyno is a tuning tool only, used to measure gains or losses on ur car, and to show increases in power when u tune.

u cannot compare readings from different dynos peorid. its as simple as that. they are all setup different and even 2 of the same dynos have descrepencys. and the fact is dynos nomatter what type can be tricked. so when u get ur car tuned before and after mods always use the same dynos with the same settings.

do u want ur car to go well with the power u have or are u wanting to be a dyno queen? the proof of power is the MPH at the end of the strip

thats awesome power man keep it up  , one day ill have a k with that kinda power

Very well put and thanks for the comment.

Blueshark. I noticed on your engine bay pic that you're venting the valve cover breather into the atmosphere. Are you still running it like that?

Are you running the pcv valve straight to the atmosphere or back into the intake manifold like stock?

Are you getting oil in your down pipe?

Thanks.

I still have it vented to the atmosphere. I do have the tube from the pcv connected to the intake manifold. If I didn't this would cause a boost leak. I pulled the tube off and noticed some oil so I ordered a catch can. I am going to install it this weekend. So it will be PCV valve->Catch Can->Intake manifold and I will put a line on the valve cover that will vent out and away from the engine bay. If you are getting a substantial amount of oil in your downpipe I would do a quick leakdown just to be safe. I just hit the 2K mile mark so Im going to be doing a leakdown soon.

Thanks I cleaned up the engine bay a bit (vac lines). Now to decide on valve cover color; Wrinkle red or candy apple red? I might leave the IC piping as it is. Maybe powdercoat them black. Only I dislike about the car is the GM boost control and the lag I am getting from it.
