I'm tucking and shaving my bay, I'm using a stock rsx-s harness but will be completely un-looming harness and wrapping entire harness in shrink wrap. I want to cut the harness and wire in a mil-spec firewall connector, where can I buy one of these, possibly with pigtail or a few inches of wire on both sides if those are available. Thanx alot guys, I'll be posting a diy as soon as it's all complete also.

so I see the tool is 325. what about my other questions? is it absolutely needed? what company makes chase's connectors?

By the way thanks alot for all of your help so far puke. I may just buy a connector from the guy's thread that you posted in your first response. But I don't know if I can do it without the tool.

I don't know if this is possible cause I've never seen one of these connectors up close, but can't I just solder all my connections and then insert pins into plug without crimping?

That is what I was planning on doing.

As far as the sources for the other harness makers...I think I posted them, or some of them, up in the past...I will see if I can find it.

Looks like wire worx is the place to go for the DIY guy. Xavier is the man and will actually talk to you and isn't just trying to squeeze money out of you. Bang for your buck at wire worx is rediculous. Will post photos when my DIY kit arrives. I still have the daunting task of actually building the harness though eeek
