Here is a table I put together of all the transmission gear ratios in all the cars I could find published data for.
If anyone finds published data on the CTR please let me know so I can add it to the chart.

If anyone has the tranny codes of the engines listed below, please let me know so that I can add that info to the table. Please be model specific with the tranny codes so that we can see if some models use the same exact tranny etc.

All my info is from honda.co.jp, acura.com, new-cars.com.

I noticed Acura.com rounds up when i compared to ratios found on honda.co.jp. (Example: 1st gear is 3.27 instead of 3.266.)

Tranny notes i have put together:
1) 01-06 accord euro-r and 05-06 rsx-s have same tranny.
2) 01-06 itr has the same 1-3 gear ratios as the 02-06 rsx-s, euro-r, and 06 si but has different 4-6 gear ratios.
3) K20A2, K20A euro-r, K20Z1 all have the same 1-6 gear ratios.
4) all 6-speed tranny's except 02-04 rsx-s & 06+ CTR, have the same 4.764 FD.
5) 06 si and 04-06 tsx have same 6th gear.

Yes you can. And I actually came here to point out:

6)03-07 Accord case is the same as the 02-07 Accord Euro R case
Which means you can source out a cheap accord transmission case and use it as a donor for a 6 speed swap...

Yeah you can.. Just have to make sure that the swap make sense ratio wise... Gears on the countershaft will press on fine and gears on the mainshaft will slide on fine.. Also make sure you have the proper synchros to go with the gear. Some come Single carbon and some come dual brass carbon or dual full brass.

EP3 and DC5 5 speed, do the 1-2 ratio's differ that much? I've heard both are good for turbo motors but the RPM drop while using the EP3 transmission is quite big?

4.7fd or 4.3fd is better for a K20 boosted motor?
It's actually quite the opposite..

The RPM drop while using the DC5 5 speed is worse.... It's more of a Dog tranny with that shift. Also the Ep3 tranny comes factory with the 4.7 while the DC5 5 speed comes with the 4.3 Factory..... Many people use the 4.3 F/D for a Turbo car to have more time in the gears and better MPG on the hwy, however the high HP guys(7,8,900+), especially those using PPG/Dogbox/ GearX transmissions tend to use the 4.7 Final Drive but with different gear ratios and it's working out better for them.

I've been wondering this for a while now so I want to bury all my curiosities... Will a 4.7 Counter shaft work with a 4.3 Ring gear, or a 4.3 countershaft work with a 5.0 ring gear etc etc basically is it possible to mix and match?

I found a deal on this 5 speed manual transmission but cannot find info over the web about its gear ratios and final drive. RPD6 written on it

Trying to determine ratios/FD for the AST5 trans that came with my JDM TSX '05 K24A3:

No way of knowing if that is original to the chassis. The chart doesn't list K24A3 / 6 speed AST5.

I couple of posters in the thread added links or info that reference the AST5 for Honda Accord, but that info was never added to the chart.

Is this the latest version of this?

I can put together an updated version that has the teeth count for the gears. I have teeth count for almost all ratios except for a few of the newer trans with gears with smaller teeth / higher tooth count /

I looked at a Kswap Integra the other day and the seller didn't know what transmission he had. It was a project way beyond what I wanted to deal with so I politely declined to buy but offered to try to help find out what transmission he has. This transmission table immediately came to mind but I don't see these codes on it. Anyone happen to know what this is?
