S2000 Stock OEM

Factory intake valves are 36mm and 51Gm
Factory exhaust valves are 31mm and 47Gm
Factory retainers weigh 11Gm

stock k20a2 rsx type s head

K20A2 (RSX-S) - Intake valve are 35.0mm

Exhaust valves are 30.0mm

So by replacing the stock valves with s2000 valves, you are basically going +1mm on both sides.

I have heard that on big power k24a motors making around 300whp, it has helped make more power... What about stock motors? anyone has any feedback?

Nikos, the springs changed in the a2 two or three times... it changed again in 04-05, and I ran the numbers a long time ago, I think it kept up with the s2k from 04+. In general, if yuo don;t already know, pcx is assigned to the s2k motor

Nice link. Prior, I was under the impression that the earlier models had a "weaker" valvetrain, later replaced with a better "stronger" valvetrain.

How can I check by VIN#? I'd take off the VC but I haven't had time do anything besides drive the car to and from school and work 7 days a week.

I don't think Nikos is talking about springs. The only thing he mentions is the valve and retainer.

Also the 06 TSX has a 36mm intake valve.
