im throwing a cel for the Heated primary catalyst and on kpro at the bottom it says (heated catalyst not supported) like its disabled or something, but its not, shouldnt it say supported, but incomplete? ( if it was a bad sensor? ) also been reading about my swap harness being pinned wrong and turns out it was, and also read once a memeber got rid of his swap harness and changed brands his issue went away. trying to borrow another known working new sensor from someone to completely verify if its a sensor or another issue
ryan check in kpro under closed loop theres a place you can disable the heater and such.....

check that.

this is just because ive read too many old posts and threads with unanswered questions to help the next guy out, my problem was my swap harness that I have was pinned wrong at the c101 plug , i re and re checked the wiring, and the 1 & 2 wires were pinned wrong and the other reason was the wires kept popping out of the plug, so i fixed it , it works now and i will be changing it out for a Ktuned harness in the future:up: (bought mine before ktuned made harnesses)

After doing some research and testing, I have some confirmed Primary O2 Sensor compatibility info. Honda Part# 36531-PRB-A01 (2002-2004 RSX Type-S) or any aftermarket equivalent should work properly on the following applications:

2002-2004 Acura RSX Type-S
2002-2004 Acura RSX Base
2002-2005 Honda Civic Si (EP3)
All K-Swap cars using 02-04 ecus or KPro.

The function of the Primary O2 Sensors on these 4 applications is identical.
The only differences between models (the reason for the different part numbers) is the physical harness length. I have confirmed that the base model harness length is about 3" shorter than the Type-S harness. A couple zip ties will hold the longer harness in place.

I am having trouble with a rich idle mixture and hesitation on tip-in on a K-swap and want to be sure that I have understood the above wiring diagram and picture.

Mike, in the pic at the top of this thread, are we looking at the ECU end or the SENSOR end of the O2 sensor connector? It won't matter with the heater coil, but the polarity of the signal will be reversed if I have misunderstood the diagram.

I have wired up my O2 sensor with the understanding that the top picture is of the ECU side of the sensor connector.
