However you can check calibration here:
calibration
I went through the calibration, DonMizzi I am sorry to say it isn't worth one €, pretty passion- and partly senseless adjustments.
  • What's the sense of a 30° VTC adjustment at idle at engine speeds beyond 1750 rpm? Is it a race engine? I stored in mind you go only partely to race tracks with your DD.
  • Part load tuning just didn't happen. Low speed VTC between high load VTEC and low load VTEC is 30° VTC! Never seen a DIC cam profit from such high VTC in that engine speed range, which need retartment for an optimised fuel consumption
  • What's the sense to flaten out the knock ignition limit tables to zero °ca beyond 400 mbar of MAP when stock knock logic is disabled?
  • ...
Some are really harmful for the engine like the knock system setup!

I would kick that Tuner and go to another one, this one do risk damage of your engine! I am sorry not to have better news for you!

Markus

BTW, could you show the last WOT datalog to me?

Hi FN2 type r,

261 bhp 173 lb this is on the fly

Stock k20z4 motor 11.1 comp

RRC intake
72mill skunk tb
3.5 inch aj racing PVC CAI

Noise Boys header
3 inch 2box single exit exhaust

RDX 410 Injectors

Supertech valve retainer kit.
BC crower stage 2 cams

Hondata FP Tuned by aj racing

Fixed only saw now that i said 3.5 inch for exhaust LMAO

Hi 20v_lover, I would appreciate to see a dyno graph, just to see where the torque curve comes to lay down with that setup.

Markus
No problem excuse the writing on the sheet.
Iam still busy finalizing the tune just need to remove my middle box before i do it.

Oh forgot to add both runs are from the same car they messed up the number plate on the previous run.

Very nice, and thank you for sharing your dyno sheet k20_lover .

...261 bhp 173 lb this is on the fly...Stock k20z4 motor 11.1 comp...RRC intake...72mill skunk tb...3.5 inch aj racing PVC CAI...Noise Boys header...3.5 inch 2box single exit exhaust...BC crower stage 2 cams
These are BMEP/VE combinations of 14.8 bar/1.19 at peak torque and 13.0 bar/1.05 at peak power, which is pretty good, considering peak power is at 8.9 krpm, which is pretty hard velocity-wise for an stock K20Z4 head.

Which VTC curve you did setup over engine speed with these BC stage 2 cams? It is remarkable the torque level for an stock block, as it kept high till 7.5 krpm, while the level is pretty good for an 11.0:1 CR and these BC cams.

Re: Official: Dyno Chart Comparison & Calibration Registry

PRC PISTONS 87 tsx rod...cams stage 3 junk2...ppa head...header swap plm...ultramanifold tb 90mm sk2...
Wow, that's awesome ymt507. The BMEP/VE combis are 16.9 bar/1.35 and 15.3 bar/1.23 at the chosen engine efficiency of 32 %, these are pretty high numbers even for m5. I guess the PPA head is modificated?

Are these Tuner or Ultra models of Skunk2? I guess the first, but I am not sure.

Hi i attached the vtc angles. I had two nasty dips on the original cal one at 8200 rpm and one at 8800 on the previous vtc angles with no kretards.

which was
40 @8000 then dropped off to
35 @8500
30 @9000
30 @9300

The rest remained the same.

After changing the cam angles slightly i don't have any dips. Think i should post a before and after graph.
I was also pulling timing in the mid so i pulled the timing a bit in the mid and that also improved the curve slightly.

Did you get within the specification paper (data sheet for the cams) a value for the centerline of this cams? Just to get an idea how efficient your engine setup is with these cams. In case of same to OEM it would be an awesome pressure drop over the engine (= healthy exhaust and header design)...I would have question to it :).

Hi

I have attached the cam datasheet if this is what you are looking for, pity i don't have a k20a with 11.7 comp stock it would have been interesting.

Thanks man! I am not sure if the lobe profil is symetric, e.g. DC OG series' are not, but if so centerline of the BC is about 6° advanced, if you mount it into the engine, the VTC mechanism retard it by 6°...finally a correction forumla would be your VTC value - 6° to compare with ITR cam VTC...this would explain a part of the advance you run. Maybe BC did it to be able to run it safely with stock pistons at 50° VTC. The rest of the advance in VTC must come of the cam design and your engine setup.

Thanks for your help to clarify it a bit...we will see hopefully (s. PM) :)

Re: Official: Dyno Chart Comparison & Calibration Registry

the math is easy, where is he getting the pistons is the question. to say PRC pistons is to say OEM. There are no OEM 87mm PRC pistons. Is he using RS Machine, mahle, supertech or something else

yes NPR ebay pistons PRC 87mm! yes stock rods good block for 300whp wow amazing [emoji28]

Moving the power band up top? You mean where these engines make all the power anyways? Lol the car will never see below 6.5k on track and I couldn't care less about low end torque on a track only car. It will get driven maybe once every few months on the street so low end isn't important
Go for it then. I daily my DC5 so it wouldn't be a good decision for me. I was just making sure you had track only goals in mind.
