It will fit... You will need a different bracket, part #11910-PPA-000 to bolt it up. The k24 tranny will not work so you would need a tranny from an rsx/02 civic.

You will also need to cut a hole in the hood.

 

cant i get lower mounts for the engine as to not curt the hood??

there was a crx on here that is turbo and white and didn't have to put a hole in the hood, he put what looks like a lump so it could fit let see if i can find the car.

that is a k20 swap and if you notice the hood, there is no underhood webbing on it...

alright, what about a k24a2 block with type R k20a head, with some mods and relocation, would the fit underhood w\o cutting?

 

my understanding is that the k24 block is the problem. all the heads are similar height.

 

bottom line is u can't use the stock hood without cutting it

ya around there. but ur better off staying with the k24a2 head. its a good head and get some new cams and its one of the best heads

 

The motor fit and also fit rhd like my own. The hood will close if you do not put a charger or individuals unless it is custom. The only thing you gotta do is cut the inner part of the hood because it hit the valve cover when u close it. As u can see on my pic.

thats a K24 and your using the hasport kit? how close is the master cylinder to the motor?

Thats not a K24. It is a K20. I am currently doing a k24 and the hood is not going to shut without a hole.
