If you blocked the oil port, you should have no issues with oil pressure and a brand new pump. Other side to that coin is it may be worth the effort to know your pressure is within specs and have the peace of mind. The oem Honda oil pressure warning isn’t worth much, only comes on when you’re down to 3-4psi if I’m not mistaken.

It will be mapped on ecutek which has an option to monitor and prevent oil engine oil starvation with supported hardware, but I’m not going to do that. It costs quite a bit and I’m not going to enter race series with my car.
