Ok guy... i want you all to check out my ride height and tell me if you think im too low. How many of you have the DTR/SSR header???? I notice it hangs just as low as the oil pan pretty much. Are guys lower/higher than me and are you hitting???

I want to be safe with my ride height, but if i go much heigher the car kinda looks goofy...... i value your imput guys!!!

Depending on your suspension you have MORE than enough clearence.

I measured and my oil pan is 3 inches off the ground. Alot lower than you are. I'm running the DTR/SSR 4-2-1 stainless race header. and I haven't even touched them at all.

I'm running Buddy Club Racing Spec Dampers 12k rear and 10k front and alot of crappy roads here in Toronto and never had a problem yet(crosses fingers).

slammmmm that shit.. lol u got plenty of room im in ny and u know these roads suck.. i got a slight fender gap, maybe not even a finger.. only time i ever scrape is a big speed bump or a steep driveway...but i do have a few scrapes on my r crew header, which hangs a lil lower than the oil pan

^^^ fuck that shit..... i cant offord to fuck up my header...... i think i may leave it where it is and play it safe for now... besides, the car isnt much to look at anyway at this point... maybe in the future, when i up the spring rate i will feel a little safer going a little lower.... i know that i can go to the k24 oil pan for extra clearance, but that still doesnt help the header clearance... which is most important to me with a $1000 header...

do you think my ride being a little higher is going to have any noticable effect on my handling???

damn you got plenty of room but then again your car is high as hell off the ground.. it all depends on the roads and jersey roads are still better than NY, i road around a lot lower and never hit the header, but i always managed to scrape or bang up the oil pan. and i had the SSR's also, they are like at a good spot by the time the car springs back up it misses the header, also yeah once you have tight suspension then u can bring it down, the soft stuff makes the car squat and u will hit if ur dropped on those highway dips.

You can definitely go another inch lower...I have EKK1 mounts on my EK Coupe and I'm on STOCK suspension on OEM VX wheels (13") I'm running low pressure in my tires and that's the only reason why my oil pan scrapes occasionally...I have roughly 3 inches of clearence. When I lower my car I'm going to get a skid plate made for my oil pan:p
