How reliable is a stock sleeve block K20 or K24 on boost?

How reliable is a stock sleeved K20 or K24 block on boost? I'm not interrested into a dyno number it put down once, i'm interrested into the long term reliableness.

Whould you share your FIRST HAND experience!?

Tell me about your setup and how long it allready lasted. Or if something blew, when and what happend?

everything is relative,

i havent have any blow from something i didnt cause. stock block k20 and k24's are reliable given you dont want it to be a 1000hp drag motor and maintain it properly

Stock K20A2 with SuperTech springs and retainers here.

Has been over 400whp since October 2009 on 93 octane.
Has been over 500whp since September 2010 on E85.
Has been over 600whp since September 2011 on E85.

I beat the crap out of this thing every time I fire it up.

Stock sleeve k20 here since spring of last year.. 30+ passes at the track and about the same on the dyno.. 30+ lbs boost.. not a single hitch with the sleeves. Best of 9.71 @ 148

Nice!!! I've been searching this info also cause I wanna go turbo with my k20/k24 and I just wanna 0 mile the block and put arp headstuds rod main bolts!!

bone stock k20a2 over 400 for 5 months, ran hard everytime i drove... its a daily, and i fried a ring... but i think it was more a tune issue than a block issue...

stock k20a2 record is well over 600. and its been that way for a bit...
