If you could install kpro on a civic si like hasport did a while back, you would see that it will make a little bit more power than flashpro. The interface of flashpro and kpro are very similar but the backend is slightly different.

how's that? is the tuning resolution better or what? As I understand it car A will make X power with Y tune..regardless of which software/hardware is responsible for the tune.

No.Flashpro is used on 600+ whp 8th gens aswell as Jotech's 320+ N/A whp Si.

you are probably thinking of the reflash...but flashpro is the 8th gen civic's version of K-pro.

im sure that it doesnt mean anything. you need to read the dc5 cam comparison thread carefully.

yeah, i read that thread ...some say it means something, some says, it got to mean something..... well... I pretty much think it means nothing as well.
just thought i ask to be sure.

yeah man, k's blew me away when I started looking around.
I recently just did a 05 tsx bottom, 06 head, mostly stock, just rbc vtc gear, rbc intake mani, hondata gasket, type s tb, type s oil pump, rdx injectors, and a crappy ktuned swap header with full 3" mandrel
made 221hp and 181ft/lbs on a dyno pack :dance:

over winter shooting for comp bump, cams, possibly port n polish? skunk 2 swap header, lsd in my type s trans and hoping for 280ish hp and not sure about tq....

eric at seekspeed made (don't qoute me) like 275ish if i recall correctly on a stock pre-06 tsx motor with cams, rrc, 09 tsx pistons and a header
