A lot of guys just run some intercooler piping from the throttle body down (cutting a hole) behind the headlight, so that the filter element is between the front bumper and the wheel well.

 

i gutted my head light an ran my intake right thru the headlight i ant got no better pics right now but its got mad air flow

 

hey is there anyway you can take a picture of your inake and how it runs into the headlight with that RBC on it??

 

Someone should offer some kits like this for us Kswapped EF's........show us some damn love!

 

its still probably cheaper and better to make your own:up:

 

on my rex I took the glass off the front of the headlight. drill a hole in the back of the light...right where the headlight bulb plugs into and drill a hole just big enough so your intake will go through it. take your intake you have now and cut it even with the back of the headlight and mold it all together with some jbweld:up: that will smooth everything out and make it nice and uniform. works very well.

no I don't have pics of it and I sold the car sorry. this may help a little though.

take your headlight and put it back in on your car. The intake you have on there now is damn close to where it needs to be just maybe needs cut back at the t/b an inch so it will line up where it meets the back of the headlight. all you need to do then is stick the intake through the hole in the back of the light where the headlight bulb used to plug in. If the hole is not big enough trim it until the intake barely goes through it. then cut it off flush and mold it together.

 

For the track I'd use a bathroom-size trashcan and some piping, haha. Home made ram air. :up:
