I'm planning to purchase a set of drag cartel cams for my stock 2006 tsx motor and is deciding between 2.2 or 3.2. Im currently on RBC manifold and Type S TB. The car will not hardly see the race track and is only driven on weekends. Any input will be nice.

super nice graph!! your making me go with 3.2's now. I only have Hytech headers & hytech 2.5 exhaust, rbc manifold, and 65 mm bore with 70mm opening. My only option is drag cartel because my friend has the sets and he's getting rid of his car.

god dam.... so essentially, are the prayoonto stage 3's comparable to the DC4s? and are the prayoonto cams billet?

I'm pretty much 12.5comp k24, asp 4-1, stock rbc, stock port prb head, 70mm HR tb, and 3inch exhaust, i was originally gonna go for some dc4's but these pss stage 3's have a slightly less price tag

No, you are off.

The DC 3.2 have these specs

Intake: 13.8 mm Lift / 254 Duration @ .050

Exhaust :13.2 mm Lift/ 250 Duration @ .050

Norris Stage 3 are the same specs, essentially same cams

The DC4 have much bigger lift, instead of 0.540 inch, they are around 0.565 inch. That would be tough to clear with enough VTC on a stock TSX block.

That's one of the reason why Norris is not publishing the specs.

Loyd, if you want max torque go with th 2.2.

If you want max HP go with the 3.2

We dynoed a stock tsx with my svm 212.4 which is the improvement over the original IPS k10 cam (0.540 lift) and it made close to 285 HP

Loyd, thank you for asking me on facebook, best of luck!

In chronological order

ips k10 was 0.540 lift on the intake vtec lobe around 2004-2005

dc 3.2 is 0540 lift since recently

norris is 0.540 lift since they are the same cams as the DC 3.2

svm 212.4 is 0.550 lift since we had to beat the original k10

they are not really meant for tsx but they did work with power, I have the graph but its not a dynojet.

Rob, is right, it can make 280 HP with racegas

Owner wants to see 300 so he ordered a new manifold,

hit me up in a few weeks for results, but for now, I think 3.2 is for peak power, 2.2 will be better for you midrange tq that you are looking for since you are not going to be drag racing.

The original ips k10 had big primaries so the tq would be better but that also means high idle to you cannot get that with the 3.2 or the Norris 3.

Why must you (Nikos) attempt to bash Norris every chance you have? Is it because he holds 2 of the fwd drag racing world records? Is it because he is known around the world? Is it because he is probably one of the smartest at what he does? It seems like every post about Norris you come and give your .02. And attempt to bash him and make him look like a copy cat and that he doesn't deserve the credit. Gtfo man leave the man alone let the man be holy shit its like you have some secret obsession or something. You want to give your .02 well there's mine Nikos let the man live damn....
