The power band is great and our tuner focused on the 4500 to 8000 rpm range and we had huge numbers there. The car will live between 5000-8000 RPM , Jeff tunes alot of Honda challenge Kseries cars and says they never blow up . Lets hope thats the case . Useable power is important more so than power at 9-10k. I would say the car will be 2300 with driver maybe a bit more. Right now the car is Fast and the power is instant. The motor was a budget build lol all used parts and custom shit. but it worked , I will say all the hybrid stuff is great the shifter cabels Tensioner , T body, harness tps alt bracket , clutchline etc . we will be on the track come april and some Vids will be up.

Thanks. Going to start with 12kg front and 14 kg rear 25 mm rear bar with rsx oem hollow front bar might go up in rear or down in front. we need to scalce and corner balance the car I'm thinking that should be a decent starting point. I prefer a stiff ride its just suites my style of driviing. Coming from our S2000 this will be a huge change. I hope we can get the car balanced pretty close to 50/50 we moved some stuff to the rear and center of car. Moving into our new shop next week then need to get ripping on this car . Thanks

B16 Head ready to goto 4pistons . Local car going to be racing with us next year , Diferent class.

Our First trip to the dyno and tune was done by evans tuning . Will be testing a CAI and open Exhaust In a few weeks . The tune was done at 210-215 degrees with Intake sucking hot air off radiator 150deg AIT to be exact at filter. I think ther is another 15-20 whp there with some cooll air and open Exhaust .

Thanks, I wish we sent our K24A2 Head to get ported but we were on a budget and time schedule. When we break down the motor after this season we will send it to 4pistons and most likely be getting a better set of cams. any recomendations for road race cam. Maybe Kelford 179b ? 5000-8000-8500 power Band thats why we liked the Brian Crower cams. The power comes up quick and didnt taper off at all. I know with a real set of cams and ported head the car will make more power. we just dont want to sacrafice and mid range power.

The IM is a one of a kind made by us built to match our motor perfectly. we made one because it seems like the alternatives were all making good top end power but seemed lacking in the mid range. The plenum volume runner lenght and size matches up good with out Displacement. The runners have velocity stacks in the plenum for a smooth flow from the 74mm HR TB. For a motor with small cams it makes good power. The curve is just what we wanted come up quick and not fall off at all. First couple pulls it pulled to 9000 never lost any power so our tuner made some changes and brought the power back to a reasonable RPM 8500 is as high as we need to go. we will have some new test dyno numbers soon we are making a New CAI and as u saw the RAD shrouding to help kiip the temps down so we can really see what the motor makes for power. We would build another IM if need. PM for details. Ill frab some more pics of the process building the manifold, gerry makes the flanges fuel rail Injector bungs also so it saves on the cost.

Getting ready. Gerry figured my seat position and lowered the steering colum today nothing like a car built around what I like. Seat feels perfect so far. We had a sparco seat in the S 2000 and I will say this kirkey is just as nice and half the weight.
