So I got my ID2000's in the mail this past week and decided that I wanted to keep the wiring simple and clean and not buy pigtails that either wire in or are adapters for the clips. It was a little extra work but I saved money and learned somethings in the process that I figured some other guys could use some help. Now by all means this is a DYI so dont make fun of my "tools"

I started with the PUNCH to remove the clip cap that helps hold the pins in place.

IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE BEFORE YOU REMOVE THE WIRES YOU REMEMBER WHAT WIRE IN ON WHICH SIDE! I LOOKED AT IT FROM THE SIDE WITH THE CLIP RELEASE SO THE YELLOW IS ON THE RIGHT. IF YOU FORGET YOU CAN LOOK AT ANOTHER PLUG.

^ now if you look at the metal pins you can see the blue clip(right below the green rubber grommet) this is where i used the knife to push that clip up.

^ the pic is kinda blurry but if you look at the clip on the left you can see that it is pushed up. the best way i found to get the wire and pin out, is to hold that clip up with the knife, and at the same time, pull the wire out. the wire should come out fairly easy.

then do the same for the second one

this is a pic of the new clip

^now just slide the clips in until they stop(make sure you put the yellow wire on the right side of the clip)

now you can see where i used the punch.

you shouldnt have to push too hard, the pins should slide right in

^ seals are sitting nice and flush in the clip.

and the inside of the clip should look like this

now you only have to do it 3 more times, dont worry the last on only took 30seconds.
