Oil Pan Gaskets?

Finally got my pan installed today. Everything seems to have gone just fine. The gasket is some sort of composite material, and I used nothing but it as directed (no sealant, etc.) and everything looks OK so far!

I used the silicone gasket remover from Ford to take the Hondabond off and it made it a seriously easy task.

No word on the Unit2 pan yet. I did notice I have to fiddle my dipstick a bit more than before, since it seems to poke it slightly on the way down, but otherwise no drama. 😁

How has it held up? I’m in a very similar situation but much more complicated.

Yep, worked great! I had to pull my pan to add a temp sensor some months back and replaced it with the same kind.
Thank you tons!!!….. refreshing, was this with a stamp steel pan? Or the aluminum pan? I have a new RBB stamp steel pan. If the gasket works with the stamp steel pan, may I ask you to share the link from where you purchased?🙏

It's the stamped steel pan. Mine is a modified Unit2 variant.

I bought it here: https://a.co/d/iqleTQ9
Ty just placed… seemed to be hard to get earlier but recent data seem to arrive on time. I’m pulling the motor/transmission out soon so this is practical.
