I went out to do some tuning on my k24a1 with Ktuner, noticed that under WOT and generally high throttle/load the ecu retards the timing by about 5-20 degrees, at wot its about 15. The car drove super slow obviously
. The afr's are pretty rich when this happens but I don't think its affecting the timing in any way. There's also 0 knock when this happens so I don't think its a knock sensor issue
I tried setting all ignition tip in values to 0 and nothing changed. I have no idea what else it could be. I can send the logs if anyone wants, but I couldn't find anything out of the ordinary besides the very negative ignition correction.
by the way the engine otherwise drives really well besides it having a 12v speed sensor which is incompatible with my ecu so I didn't connect it, could that be related to this timing problem?
