All k series flywheels and clutches are interchangeable

 

So a k24z7 flywheel and clutch will work on a k20z3?

 

Yes. You can use a k20 flywheel on your k24 block. However, you will also want to use a k20 clutch.

 

Sorry for redundant question but i purchased a k24a2 flywheel clutch combo for my k24a block with k20z1 trans. Should they work? Have any experience with this combo? Ty in advance for any info.

EM1 . I keep wanting to back out of this swap since all I have is the motor so far. Every time I think of all the parts and money to get it done. But I'm gonna take this swap slowly.

 

The swap is pretty straight forward, the hardest part will be gathering the parts.

With the amount of pinned post's and diy's in here you shouldnt have any issues and there are alot of helpfull people here aswell, all you have to do is look around if no luck ask.

Goodluck with your build if you go through with it you wont regret it one bit, i know i dont.

AFAIK, clutch and flywheel need to match, so K24 clutches only fit to k24 flywheels.
The combo fits on both k20 and k24. But don't nail me on that. Pls do some more research to confirm as I have only ever handled K20 items.

If by research you mean, send it, i'll let everyone know if i run into any issues. Flywheel looks like its a tight fit against the block but the clutch sits perfect on the trans, so I'll know more in a week or so. Its an action clutch stage 3
