Stupid question to ask if you had any pictures lol but thanks.

I need a flex pipe, I was just going to run the exhaust straight from the header. What brand is yours?
 
Im leaning towards this header as well. How loud is your exhaust setup?
Little video clip with my turndown muffler along with this header. Both setups are the same except an intake manifold change. The tone really got deep after the intake manifold, and even more so now that I've changed to a ported head but I don't have video of the ported head sound.

Also I'm interested in the k-tuned Big Tube.

I have a K20A2 with:

- long CAI 3",
- 70mm TB + RBC
- RDX 410cc injectors
- drag cartel drop-in cams

This Big Tube can do good gain also with K20 engine and pretty quite setup?
I use my car for track days, and I like 5500-8500 rpm range

(I think I will use 2.75" (70mm) exhaust with risonator)

Youre gonna want more injector. More compression would be nice too.

Ba82Ep3, you mean a fifth, sixth, ... injector, or even a second fuel system? Anyway, the RDX injectors are good for NA'd 270 whp on gasoline and NA'd 160 whp on E85 (both calculated for 80 % duty cycle). So the first question to DonMizzi would be which fuel he wants to use and if he want's to stay NA. Last would be also relevant for your 2nd recommendation.

In Italy we have 98 octane fuel, no E85.

Now I have an header K-tuned 4-2-1 short primary, size 44mm (secondary 47mm) and stock cam.

I want to add drop-in cams by Drag Cartel and a bigger and long tri-y header, like big tube K-tuned.

instead, I think I will hold my stock throttle body tappered 68 -> 65mm (arranged at the RBC), rather than 70mm

I would get 240-245 hp, now with stock cam and small header I have 220 hp (low reading dyno)

Don't forget to uprate your valve springs (s. http://www.k20a.org/forum/showthread.php?t=88917) when going beyond stock rev limit of the K20A2 (= 8.05 krpm for the EDM K20A2). DC will not be the one paying you misshift caused bend valves :D.

More injector headroom isnt as important for NA setups as it is boost. 80% is my personal limit either way.

Considering his choice for the smaller TB, 410s would work fine. But for 98 octane, a larger TB, and more compression... i would at least do 480s.

I firmly believe you can have too much injector for an application. If i can tune a setup around 60-70% duty, then i am content with the injectors of choice.
 
I guess to clarify I wanted to see what others had success with. I'm currently running 3" piping and it looked like Child has a coupler link and a flex pipe.
I have a V-band flange welded directly to the end of the header, followed by a vibrant flex pipe. My 3" exhaust is welded direct to the flex pipe side. One little v-band bolt loosened and i can drop the exhaust from the header :nod:
