:notbad: I think I'm literally in love with your engine bay! I've been wanting to do this with my 99 for quite some time. How much time and moneyz and such have you invested in this?
I havent spent much hours on the build as I go to college part time and have always worked full time, plus a girlfriend. Over the 3 years of this build Ive only work on it 3-4 days a month and some months not at all, at time because of weather conditions or other times financial reasons. As far as the cost goes, It never really cross my mind until recently. At work I did make a list with a ball park of the items I could remember off the top of my head and the build is at $18k+, not including how much the car was purchased for. I dont care what Ive spent as the depth of this build/restore was not planned but has become my vision of what I wanted my car to be. I just always felt like if its been this long i might as well do this and that, and so on, lol. Im sure you can do a k24a2 swap with $5k and get some $ back by selling the H swap.

Never ask how much someone has in a build. It's like staring at someone
Thats actually a good way of putting it lol :coleman:

That's kind of what I'm hoping for. The car itself is nowhere near as clean as yours started out, but I can make do, lol. You, sir, are my inspiration! I'd eventually love to supercharge it and make in the neighborhood of 350-400 WHP, and retain all stock functions. A lot to ask, but It's doable.

You can stare in awe, and still show respect :p

Money doesn't matter, vision does. Sometimes they do not correlate well though lol.

Love it OP, great build

Keep up the good work buddy!

Couple of questions for ya:

Wiring: What are you going to do to hook up the K24 engine harness to the Ludes under dash harness? Have you thought about tach feed etc?

Shifting: What are you using for a shifter?

Cheers!

I sent my harness to Hasport at the same time I purchased the mounts/axles and they re wired it for me to work with the K24. Goin to be installing the wiring this weekend so stay tuned for the trouble shooting lol.

The shifter cables/box are off a TSX.

Looks cool , man .

What color is it ?
Thanks, its Lambo gray...

Took today off work and decided I didn't want to install the used Kidd Racin header looking old. Decided to give it a light sanding and spray it with VHT ceramic coating paint. Came out better than I thought....

Couple months back got my hands on a 99-01 honeycomb grill for cheap just needed some love. Sanded it and hit it with black trim paint.

Installed shifter cables and box but still need to drill holes for the rear two bolts on the box since they don't match the preludes.

Got a couple free days coming up so progress should be good by next weekend.

Any further updates? I'm gonna have to figure out another route, you're doing everything literally exactly as I had planned, lol. Well, except for the deletion of Power Steering and the sunroof, but everything else is perfect, down to the exhaust.
