I recently installed a hondata IM gasket...!

Here is a little write up i made for you!

Start by loosening the intake's hose.

Unclip the injector's plugs, remove the bolts holding the fuelrail and remove the fuelrail as well:

Now unbolt the manifold's bolts and nuts.
You will find two nuts + two bolts on the top of the manifold, and three bolts on the bottom.

Manifold is slowly coming out.....

..But not for good as it interfere with a bracket located on the left..

Here is a better look:

Now, if you unbolt the left manifold's stud, it will make your job a lot easier. To do so, use the clasic "two nut" technique!:silly:

Done!!

Get the old gasket out...

Hmm oily!??? Take a look at the Old gasket over the hondata..Perfect fit, perfect cut!

Now take a pic of your valves(!)..:silly::silly::silly:

Place the Hondata gasket in place...

Bolt the stud/nuts/bolts in place... Its always better bolting on the torque specified by the service manual...But thats up to you..

Now get the intake in place, as well as the fuel rail+injector's plugs!
..And you are ready to go!:up:

wow Thanks... I was about to grind away that bracket on the water pump!

Never thought to take out that stud! I have RBC< but I hope that trick still works.
