how does part no. 16 even relay messages to the pc? is it wireless or something?

yo, i got an extra one but the nipple that goes to the intake broke off..let me know. I replaced it, but i dont' even know if i had to, i paid like 90 bucks because it comes with the housing and crap. for new one with my special discount. shoot me an e-mail and i'll send you some pics.

In order to replace it you ahve to take that whole thing off, you can't spin it off or it'll hit the valve cover. it was a mother to replace.

it goes to the intake tube. I'm not sure if it creates a vaccum or suction or what, but its there.

Maybe i'll just leave it for now, i really don't need to make more work for myself at this point.

true. Right now i dont' even have that hose hooked up.

Engine cold it bypasses air to intake. afterwarm up the valve shuts closing the air passage.
So there is no contact with ecu. vacum is after all sensors, so it should be safe to disable and put ur b/d series coolant temp sensor in place of.
