okay i got a k20a and was wondering if anyone has any instructions on how to rewire the harness to use in a 01 civic + or also known as the EM2.. looking at other options instead of buying the wire harness kit from hasport.. BUT... if it has top be done them i'll buy one...also either i got the wrong info or something but who sells wire harness conversion and makes them and how much?... cause i got a quote saying the hasport sells them for $700 with core exchange

i mean i know how to and have done rewiring myself with other swaps and what not... but its hard when i cant get the right info for such a new swap... and yanking out the k20 harness is no biggie but the civics internal one will be... and much to long of a wait... damn. better off doing it myself with some help..

Since we are on the subject on wiring i have a question?I have a 91 civic standard and its dpi would i have to buy a civic harness that is mpi or can i just send them my standard harness along with the rsx harness :up:I dont plan on doing it myself wiring isnt my strong point gotta learn :(

The Em wiring for the k series from hasport doesnt require that you send in your stock em harness, just the k series harness. The k series harness gets converted the battery charging harness is converted as well.

And for the last question for the 91 civic standard are you putting a k series in it or are you asking what you need to send for doing an dpi to mpi conversion? If you are just doing a dual to multi conversion you will need to send your stock engine harness and the harness from the new motor going in and it will be converted. Like a dx to b16 you will need to send the dx harness and the b16 for example. :)

uh... i already stated that you have to send in your core for the xchange... which is basically sending in the engine harness.. it does say in my original post that i am asking how to rewire the harness to use in an em2 not rewire the em2 harness.. and fyi my neighbor just did his own rewiring using a diy guide he got from someone which basically only has to do with the c101 connector and works perfectly fine... anyways good luck to everyone and there swaps
