They should. I know Nossy is running the ITR (DC5R) intake cam on his K24A2 with the RSX-s exhaust cam. And aftermarket cams for the RSX-s will work just fine in a K24A2. There are several people running IPS K2's, and I am running IPS Ksc's in my K24A2.

of course they will fit. (rsx type s head and tsx head can carry the same cams) Hondata tried them on their TSX motor.. With the addition of the 45 Degree VTC, there are some good gains to be seen from this. All the way to 230whp.

As far as keeping the tsx stock valvetrain and adding the type r cams, you can do it.. just do not overev it past 8000 rpm too much

Didnt they determine that they lost mid range power with them, or lose power using the DC5R exhaust cam?

Also,
Isnt the TSX exhaust cam more aggressive then both the Type-S and Type-R exhaust cams? I remember reading that. If thats the case, then use an ITR intake cam with a TSX exhaust cam.

Huggy Bear, keefeck yah sharmoota?!?! :D :silly:

they replaced only one cam... In my opinion, using the type r cams with tsx head will make power. Neil made 234 whp with stock TSX block and type r head... but really a type r head is a rsx type s head with type r cams and springs... so.... since tsx head and rsx head are not that much different in flow numbers,,, you should be able to get good gains with the type r cams. I hope I will because I am using them on my motor... But because my tsx head was burned in a fire, I am using a type s head but I think the tsx head might even yield higher TQ numbers.

-SHit.. that sounds complicated
