I always use discount tire direct. but I just looked for my 215/45/16 size and they didn't have it...

what size are you lookin for?

Those drag radials may not be all that great in the twisties. never tried them myself but the sidewall was probly designed for pure drag and is probly kinda soft...

i love the Azenis tires, and have only heard good things about the new ones.

Hey,

I'm looking for Azenis in 205/50/15. I remember seeing them on edgeracing.com for $46 each but now they have the new RT615 model for $90 each! Who has the best prices?

Thanks!
Unfortunately, Falken regulates the prices of the RT615 after DTD introduced them at such a low price that the manufacturer was insulted.

Vulcan Tire is going to sell them at the lowest price allowed, and IMHO they seem to have better service than DTD.

It's too bad that they're going to be more expensive than the RT215 for the forseeable future. :(

If you can deal with a tyre that is almost as grippy as the RT615 Azenis, doesn't melt and has better water channeling, then think about the Hankook Ventus Z212 R2S. DTD has very decent prices and stock on these...just stand by for the usual DTD screwups and don't get upset if it happens. :)

so the BF Goodrich g-Force T/A Drag Radial are not good did i throw my money away
They are great for drag...

I don't know much else about them. I just assume that since they are made for drag they may to be optimal for road racing, or everyday driving...

I personally have never used those tires...

They don't look to bad... and I like this size, http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/fi...c=11864&typ=Passenger/Performance&rd=16&ar=45

what usual screwups would you be reffering to?

and what other similar tires have you had experience with?

I have driven a car with the azenis.......

:wow:

I never knew tires could do some of the things they did, here is my impression of the azenis:

"Hi road"
"Hi Azenis"
"How are you road?"
"Good, how are you Azenis?"
"Good, lets be friends, and never part from each other's side, no matter what the G's"
"Ok"
"Ok"
