The H22 is so much easier to do I would have to vote for that one. Having said that, Prelude and Accord K-series mounts are on Hasport's to do list. It is a better engine.

I would have to agree w/ brian g... but I'd specifically be looking for the type s tranny to mate with the h22... gearing is so tight w/ that tranny... unless you're planning on boosting... f22 tranny all the way then lol. a k24 would be badass in a lude... but the mounts arent out yet and fabricating mounts is something i dont trust myself to do lol... nor would i want to go through the headache of it... hasport has the technology and equipment needed to make the mounts high quality with a great ride.

I have a 92 prelude type 2. i have been saving for a jdm h22 for awhile but now that these k-series are coming out i am seriously considering. I want a k24 but i need a price with install, mounts, axles, engine i was just wondering if yall could help. thanx

I would go for the h22 right now just because of easiness. It might be a real long time before Hasport comes out with mounts for this.

I would go for the h22 and turbo the sh!t out of it...

Only down side i can see for the H22 is the trannies. They are so limited. Stock 4.2 FD and the gears are not nearly as short as a B series b16 tranny or JDM ITR with 4.7FD
Why if h22s came with the equivalent of a JDM ITR tranny stock on any honda car equiped with a h22 i might not be on this board right now.

They make mounting plates the allow you to mount the b series tranny to the h22.

Yea but believe it or not thats illegal right now for sanction drag racing events if you want to compete.

Prelude22 if you are really serious about swaping your motor. you should wait for the mounts to swap a k24. well at least that's what i'd do. with the k motor you'll get more displacement, a lighter engine, the option for a six speed, vtc, and just an all around better engineered engine. the list goes on.

Your advising him to mate the H22 to a Kseries tranny? So you think he should make the H22 spin clockwise?

he's refering to a h22 type s tranny.
