Whats up guys, how come im hearing that there is a major differnce in the trannies. I know for a fact that yeah the type r has lsd and shorter gear ratios, but ive talked to a few people and they have said that they have triplke syncros in first and second gear or some shit like that???? man, dont know if that is good or not, but let me know guys so i can look more into this.

you mean triple cone synros ? First and second gear usually get pounded pretty hard and the USDM synros are pretty low in quality based on comparison. My cousin' s rsx type S had his synros replaced three times under warranty before Acura called it "user abuse". Type R can take alot more punishment under heavy and heavier driving behavior than the rsx's syncros.

The LSD makes a HUUUUGE difference (of course, then again, you replace the ITR LSD with a Spoon, even huge-er difference :twisted: )
The ITR gearing makes driving feel alot better as well.
