i don't believe so someone else on here runs them as well

i am on my 6th set of the same plugs
when i was first putting my setup together and getting ready to tune, these plugs were suggested
If you dont have any issues with pre-ignition it doesnt matter, you are making great power so dont change anything.

But I did second guess my self and refer to denso web site, and the lower the number on the plug the "hotter" the plug. The higher the number on the plug the "colder" the plug.

Stock type-s is as IK22

what plugs do you guys recommend for my car...

NGK BKR9EIX or NGK BKR10EIX

i am using the denso ik16 because i actually called Full-Race and asked them

Any of you guys running the 9s having any idle issues? I'm running the 8s with my setup now and I'm getting random knocks at full throttle but I'm already pulling a shit ton of timing. I was told to switch to the 9s when I got tuned to help with the knock issue and to run a bit more ignition but I've been lazy and I wasn't really seeing any knock at all until the weather warmed up. I just ordered the 9s but a buddy said I'll probably have weird idle issues with them. Thanks guys.

I have run 9's on countless stock motors making between 400whp-500whp with no idle/cruise issues whatsoever.

Throw them in, Mike.
