As the topic says, assuming that the engine will produce about 180-200 whp this year, fairly stock EDM engine with basic mods E/H/I and maybe Hondata.

What size should I run, to be hitting lowest possible ET, have read from 22-24,5 but its very confusing.

I guess your talking a K20 or a K24. well I'd either run a 23 or a 24.5 depending on what you plan on doing. If you decide to get more power a 24.5 will be good Probably over 220whp. around the 200whp the 23-8-13 will be your friend.
I run 1.55-1.61 60fts with 220whp on a 24.5-9-13 spinning off the line.. But I have to change into 5th. with a 23" slick you'll be in 5th at around 105mph in 4th the 24.5 will be 110-114mph depending on the rev limit..

not to get off topic here but have you thought about switching to a 5speed?

Yep it will be a K20, thx for the replies.

My goal is for season 2005 just to get the car running and hopefully doing a mid 12
For season 2006 the engine will be teared apart and rebuild with internals and maybe a K24 block.

Maybe if the budget allows I get 2 sets of slicks dimension.

On all motor, NEVER NEVER go with 5 speed....For the 200whp. this is what you need 23-7.5-15 and that is it...


That is what we use on the CRX that went 11.80's...

24.5 is way to big...


Now if you are going with a 13 inch rim then you need this..22.8.13
