I have a AEM fuel rail and a ssx fuel pressure regulator. I just installed a fuel pressure gauge and I was wondering if someone would know a good psi to put it at?

i want to make sure I understand brian.

You are saying dont hook up the vaccuum to the FPR??

That's correct, Do not hook up the vacuum.

The K-series ECU doesn't want to see fuel pressure that fluctuates with vacuum.

thanks for the info . I had it set at 58 psi. when you talk about the vacum line are you talking about the gold little prong that sticks out at the top where you adjust the pressure. Also what will cause my car to idle up and down when setting still

Air in the cooling system, or a vacuum leak, or a cable that too tight.

idle air control valve also will do make irradic idle.

what do you do with the vaccuum coming off the mani under the fuel rail?

cap it off????

Mine has been running fine.

I will try it and see if any differences tomorrow.

i looked i dont see anything wrong.It still idles up and down. when it gets warmed up . sometimes it revs to high when it gets etremely to hot outside .

I just got mine running the other day. I'm using the aem universal fpr. Above 40 psi it starts pulsating like mad. It doesnt at 40. I took it for a quick spin at 40psi and it ran fine, but when I get it up and going I want it set correctly. Any help from brian g since I'm running your mounts, axles, headers, and wiring! lol
