Well when i get my swap im probably not going to have enough dough to buy a new clutch, are any of you guys using the stock R clutch? Is it good enough to hold the power of bolt ons? I probably wouldnt even change the stock flywheel which is 10lbs i think and is light enough for me. If i do go with a aftermarket clutch it would be a Action one. Probably the Kevlar stage 1. Are any of you guys using action cluthes?

If I recall correctly Pacman used the stock R clutch for the whole time he had the crx and he said it held pretty well. They had alot of passes on slicks...

I'd like to get a Tilton twin-disk but I can't afford that shit. For anyone who can, I think Camp1320 carries them...

Kedimoto,

How much did that twin disk cost? I wanted to get an exedy twin disk, but it hasn't been released yet. So I settled for the exedy hypersingle. I've already gone through 2 exedy ceremetallics.

Anyone know any other twin disk clutches out for the k-series?

I'm running the exedy stage 2 (cerametallic 3puck sprung clutch) & ACT 8lbs flywheel. Good clutch, held the power I was putting down and I've used them on all my mild to wild b-series motors as well. I'd advise you replace the clutch before putting in the motor. I ended up with a k20R that had a toasted clutch and make a mistake of not replacing the clutch on the motor before I swapped it in the eg. I had to pull the motor out again to replace the clutch.
