Besides the obvious power gain you will get with the K20 series swap, how does the chassis handle with this motor setup??? I don't know exact specs on weight, but it wouldent be heavier then the H22 motor, right?

As of right now I don't know if this motor would be a good candidate for my CRX that is going to be auto-Xed. What are the WEIGHT differences when comparing to a B16 series motor? Thanks for any help in advance...

Chassis will be fine....No, it's lighter then H22...


From a B18c5 it 50 pounds heavier...

We weighed a B18C engine and tranny and a K20A engine and tranny and there was only 3 lbs difference. Which makes it about 70 lbs lighter than an H22 with tranny.

There's a thread on Honda Tech showing both engines on a scale.
