are all 2.0l kseries water pumps the same? i got a k20r and need to get a waterpump for it. i got the hook ups @ honda and was thinking of getting a civic waterpump either k20a3 or the k20z3 i jus want to make 100% sure before i buy. thanks guys.

dont use k20a3. go either k20a2, k20z1 or k20z3. you might just need to play with the alternator with some washers

I dont think either of those will work! The a3 does not have the oil cooler which is a different pump totally!
not to sure on the z3...

I would say your best bet is the k20a2 one

yeah i hear ya on that but I had to go to acura and pay the price for an a2 pump cause I didn't wanna chance it... I need to find good pictures of an a2 and z3 side by side!

You can use to z3, you might just need to get a z3 alternator for an easier install. but you'll also need the z3 thermo case and thermostat. So best bet is the k20a2 or k20z1.

The K20A2/Z1's(02-06 typeS) water pump is the same pump as the typeR's pump, and I think the 07' Si should fit(but I havnt actually tried) NAPA carries new and remaned water pumps.

You wont need a new Tstat housing or any of that, You dont replace the entire water passageway, the water pump is just the portion that contains the pulley, when removed it looks like a cover with a impeller opposite the pulley.

damn it I just check autozone and compared aftermarket numbers for the z3 and a2 pumps they are the same number BWP-9341

dang it I could have saved myself some money!!!!
