For some weird reason, my tial 44m wastegate is open at idle and shooting tons of exhaust out of the open dump tube.. I am also smelling coolant from the dump-tube and the dump-tube will smoke at times. but I have no signs of a coolant leaks anywhere, I checked it over 100 times bottom/top. And checked my radiator for lower levels of coolant and there is none.(Coolant level is normal) The engine oil is fine and no coolant mixed in with it. Level is fine.. I am running a waterline kit to my turbo, so I am not sure if thats normal.. Its like half my exhaust gas is going through the rear muffler and the other half going through my dump tube.. When you rev it at idle, the dumb tube resonates very loud... When I am driving it sounds like a huge-ass exhaust leak coming below my dump tube under my engine.. I am pretty sure my valve seat(fire-ring) is on the bottom of the wg. Any ideas on what would cause this? Its going to be a bitch to take that wg out. So I would like rule out some other possiblities before I take the wg off...

here Axix, let me show you the proper way to plumb in your wastegate.

I know you are using the tial 44mm & the hondata solenoid so when I was drawing the diagram I called them out.

lol, I told you the other day to check the fire ring

I figured that was what the problem was but you told me that the guys installed that when you did the install.

Was just about to say check the fire ring or to make sure they was a spring in it.

Also the WG is not suppost to see vacuum. Only positive pressure is applied to the wg. Here the diagram from Tial.
