Anyone make valvetrain components for k series...I know crower has somethings released, but wondering if anyone else has released anything. Like ferrea, etc. I was more looking into valves, keepers, retainers, etc.

Is supertech and Crower the only ones making valves and such for the K series?

Looking for valves, guides, etc...

Ferrera is the best but you'll pay for it. Manley also has valves & keepers, I have them and they are great quality! Crower makes SHIT for valve train, I had it and ditched it as soon as I found out the severity of the destruction their untested pile of shit was causing to others.

thats nice that manley makes valves and keepers... You already have them? wheres the pictures? was the Ferra stuff a little more pricy?

I will be building a road race car with a big stroke and some wild cams so I need to be able to flow the neccesary air up top at 8-9k... I will probly have the head ported, but I want to do it right the first time and just build the head completely (with only the highest of quality shit  )...

Yeah, anymore info people can share about the Ferrea valvetrain would be very much appreciated.
What should be built up really? Keepers? Guides? What do you really need to reinforce?

I'm running the IPS cams and S&R's from Ron along with manley valves & keepers but no one makes K guides:down: . Also JonV I had my head ported by Headgames for big boost and don't think a big port is needed for RR & NA. Also anyone thinking of doing their head should'nt be talked into the whole over sized valve think unless you are going to run over 10,000 revs & 800+ whp.
JonV I would talk to Edo (Ron) about your goals for cams, he is extremely knowledgeable & a big part in making this sick project of mine a reality!!!!
Also anyone rebuilding their head should get some kind of aftermarket keeper, stock can't handle extra spring rate and higher revs, together making alot of stress!

Sweet. So i bet a good valve job and bowl work would be fine in terms of head work?
Where did you get your Manley valves and keepers?
