Hello Olof, you may also check it on EBay or EBay-Kleinanzeigen.de. On the later there is actually one overpriced K20Z4 block for 600 Euro (only casting, nothing else). For 600 Euro's you should expect a complete crank assembly and casting with over 150,000 km on the clock.

Thank you! Yes there are a lot of stuff out there..
According to the short block, except for the different compressions, rods and pistons, are the crank and block casting the same for all K20A2-A9 engines??

Unfortunately not. Only the A (performance) and A2 have oil squirters and counter weight balanced crankshafts. The oil and water pumps are different as well as the oil to water cooler, which isn't available within the A3 small block. I assume the oil pan is also different, but not sure about this.
