I am planning on doing this swap this spring in my 94 hatch. I can get the type-s swap for around $4000 and the type-r for $5300. Is the type r really worth the extra $1000?? Also w/ the type r he said the harness isnt always complete, what do i do if it isnt??

The type r has different pistons, cams , manifold, throttle body and a LSD transmission.

If you are planning to stay all motor and can afford it, go with the R.

The transmission alone goes for $2000 in the US.

If you are planning to go turbo, go with a type S.

It is worth that extra $1300, unless you are the kind of person that will end up porting the head, changing the cams and going all out... Then the type S would be better.

The LSD is about $850 plus labor.

Trust me go with Type r....

Look at the gears and the motor...

The type r at the long run is a lot cheaper and better...

But hey it's all up toooo you.. :p

This things that motor comes with..... If you only know

Totally worth it to get the Type R...I love mine. Plus in the long run, even when you change things you can sell the Type R parts for good money to people.
