i saw that they have mounts axle, etc for the k20 swaps..will they fit a TSX motor......
basically i want to know what will i need to drop the TSX motor in to my civic ? :shock:

The TSX engine its self isn't such a problem. For the most part if you change the throttlebody to one that isn't drive-by-wire then you can use the engine with a K-Pro. The transmission mounts differently so current mount kits will not work. You can bolt an EP or DC5 tranny to that engine and then a mount kit will work.

Are there any other items of concern, or benefits to using the K24. Off hand I would think the hood fittment would be an issue.

A K24A2 from a TSX matched with a K20A2 tranny would have no problems. Change the throttle body for a RSX one and you are done.

If you use a tranny from a rsx s or r the hasport mount kit should work. The tsx tranny dosen't work with the hasport mounts. Is there a difference in the bolt pattern on the type r t/b and the type s t/b? Do they both bolt on to a stock tsx intake manifold?

Hasport states on there installation instructions an extra bracket must be bought...

As far as throttle bodies I dont believe it works simply because everyone has to use a Accord Euro R tb or Usdm Accord tb its smaller but works..

So you can use the TSX tranny but you need an extra bracket? any more info on this bracket? what is it? where can you find it? how does it solve the TSX tranny not working with the Hasport mounts problem?
