TSX RBB 25* VTC gear

There is alot of new cams out on the market requiring this K24A2 TSX 25* VTC gear, We have had plenty of requests for these. Feel free to use this thread for cam and VTC discussion :up:

Just want to make it clear

211 is 50 VTC for any engine combination

212 is 30 VTC limit only for 2 liter engine with stock OEM block, (OEM PISTONS) or a k24a with stock OEM block like a TSX or a k24a/k20 frank

A TSX VTC camgear would work great with a set of 212 if you have to be limited on VTC

On a k24a with aftermarket pistons like the one in the dyno, 50 VTC is no problem for 212 profile

Every cam on a kseries head can be advanced and retarded by + or - 25 degrees.

If you use too big of a cam, it might cause valves to make contact with the piston.

As we move into 10 years of kseries development, we are pushing the envelope by utilizing every last bit of room we have to fit a bigger cam thus making more power assuming valve motion is on par with the design.

A 25 vtc is a mechanical limited that doesnt allow the cam to go past that limit, thus providing a security blanket for your engine, in case you are running a camshaft that is bigger than normal for said valve relief.

You can also just tune the car and tell the MAP to not go over say 25 VTC, but due to oil pressure variations, sometimes the computer will spike the vtc a little bit or a lot over the comman VTC angle.

Running a 25 TSX VTC, makes it impossible for the engine to overshoot that limit.

the VTC gear allows the cam to rotate within certain limits, Im not best at describing it but basically the 50*vtc allows for 50-degrees of movement and so on....
so basically the more better up to what each cam allows. Some cams only allow 25* or 30* and after that valve kisses the piston so this mechanically limits cam angle
