2 qts of Honda MTF.

Use Amsoil synchromesh if you can get your hands on it. If not, then just go honda/acura mtf.

I'm not hardly a tranny expert, but I just recently switched from Amsoil 75w90 to Amsoil Synchromesh and gotta say the Synchromesh feels much smoother.

could you possibly relate the smoothness after, to being the need of the old fluid to be changed out?

I wouldn't doubt that. Could also be the different weights of the oil being easier to shift. I notice a differnce when I replace Honda mtf with Honda mtf.

i ran honda mtf for a while and found amsoil synchromesh the better. i thought the shifts into gears(especially second) to have a smoother engagement.

Torco for the oil, and Amsoil synch for the tranny fluid FTW:up:
