From an acoustics standpoint very little as this is mainly geometry driven.
It makes a difference in cam duration requirements. A k24 needs a longer duration cam for same peak power revs than a k20. I would not be surprised if the Toda C in a k24 peak at about the same rpm as the Toda A3 in a k20. For the latter this is usually somewhere slightly north of 8000 rpm.

I went steel. nothing too exciting but this is everything installed.
i like the oem heat shield for the oil filter.

what type of assembly grease (lube) are you using on the cam holders? and the rest of the assembly?

That is correct.
Ok, fine. Despite that it would be good to see the calibration and WOT log to investigate the VE downfall more easy. Also header, exhaust and muffler specification would help. Just an offer to analyze your torque curve shape and it's background.
