Will at Hybrid racing filled my in on some of the various parts needed:
So far some of the best info i have found about the k20a and its swappability is from:

Will at Hybrid racing filled my in on some of the various parts needed:
---------------------------------------------------------------------The bracket, pulley, bearing, and bolt are needed to remove the Power steering from your K series motor. Here is a picture to show you how the parts work.
http://www.hybrid-racing.com/~stank....php?pic_id=274
This pulley setup is not needed on any motor that came from the EP3 Civic.
The Thermo Unit and Coolant Switch are used to control the fan and the temp gauge in your chosen chassis.
The remaining part is the throttle cable and this is used for throttle body actuation.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
William Davidson

Axle kit: $5600Quote: Here's the quote from John at Hytech posted on www.clubrsx.com:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"As promised here is the price for the kit. For most of you it is expensive but that is life. Good parts and good quality is what we are pushing. This motor, in street form makes more power than the Real Time RSX, for the world challenge series. And I bet their motors go for a whole lot more than what mine does. We will be manufacturing the first 10 kits ASAP. The only things left to be done is to finalize the new cam profile and the new intake manifold. Which will push the power to 280 whp. Realistically about 6 to 8 weeks before we have the kits ready to go. For those who are serious you can call me at (949) 581-2181 and we can answer your questions and take deposits.
Billet Connecting rods
Custom Wiseco Pistons with pins and rings

Custom intake with filter
Reflashed ECU.

The K20A is the DC5 ITR motor. Very expensive.
The K20A2 is the USDM Type S 200 HP motor. Expensive.
The K20Z1 is the USDM 2005 Type S 210 HP motor. <-This is awesome, but rare in the motor factor yards and veyr expensive.
Two things to think about that you mightn't think about at first thought:
(1) K20A3 is the 160 HP 2.0 litre EP3 Si motor in the USDM. This is a very torquey motor that's very pleasant to drive, very flexible. They are very cheap because of all the EP3 USDM people doing conversions and then not having anything to do w/their motors.
(2) K24A* is the 200 HP motor in the USDM CL7 (TSX). This is exactly the same size dimensionally as the K20's, but it's much cheaper, has a hell of a lot of torque, and is very easy to find because nobody's really thinking about putting these into smaller cars. Motor weighs the same, it's the same size...no reason not to do it. The head's a full VTEC design, and the internals are stressed well for the power.
If I were shopping for a K motor right now, there's no doubt I'd be going for one of those two less popular motors!
(If you're looking for a K24, make sure it's out of a TSX. The K24 motors in the USDM Accord and USDM CRV are not what you want in your high performance car.)
If you insist on wanting a K20 motor then I would definitely let Leo at PasswordJDM know you want it for sure, and then let him find it for you

USDM = k20a2...no LSD ( RSX Type S )
USDM = k20a3...no LSD ( RSX Base Model)
JDM = k20a.....LSD ( Integra Type R 02-05)
Hope that helps
