i have been trying to work out what the problem is but cant figure it out ,

on the rear of my car i have about 5 mm difference in ride hieght but the drivers die spring is compressed about 20 mm more ( i had to do this to get the car to around the same level )

is there something wrong with one of the coilovers ?

There might be something wrong with that spring.

There is anything binding on it, is there?

20mm is lot of difference. That is 1 & 9/16 inches.

I would suggest taking it back off, if you already haven't, and possible trying to compress it through its travel to see it it IS traveling properly.

Either way, I'd be on the phone with the distributor to get a credit and send that faulty piece back in. Lord knows how much you paid for those baby's!

did you just get them? are they new or used?? are you checking your car on level ground???
the front and rear springs are different stiffnesses. make sure the stiffer ones are up front. if they are up front. make sure your car is on level ground.

yeah they are brand new and i went and measured them today on level ground , there is about 5 mm difference in height but 20 mm difference in the compression .

they are brand new

i put the ones that were in the rear box on the rear and the ones that were in the front box on the front , didnt actually check part numbers etc but i am going to make sure all of the part number add up this weekend .

dont think that one is fouling , they both look the same .. dont see what they coulf foul on ..

the screw bit that sticks up the top is the same hieght on both sides ..

the distributor hasnr been much help actually .
