Weights stock....With out Interior...Take about 100 pounds or so...

O, i would think you guys would be trying to save weight in every way possible. in a car that weights 1700lbs every couple pounds would make a difference. Id have other goals besides hp like 1500lbs

if you lighten a car too much itll be dangerous for the street; ie. some people remove the side impact beams to save weight. a guy did that to his ef civic hatch+switched to carbs, no dash, etc. and got it to weigh around 1400lbs. it was a track-only car.
