So saturday i'm driving south on Highland in Cincinnati, my home town, minding my own business when all of a sudden out of my perif, I see this tiberon flying towards me from the left. I speed up and swerve slightly to try and get out of his way but its too late....BAM! T-boned! I get spun around 180° and end up on the curb facing traffic the way I was just coming from. Side air bag deployed, CEL is on....eff. Everyone is ok but my poor car is all smashed up.

Still haven't heard work whether she is ok to be fixed or totalled but i'm keeping my fingers crossed.

ha ha. There is always an excuse. He says, I was speeding(maybe 2-3 miles over), didn't have my headlights on (it was 7:45 anyways but i did), and he stopped but looked left and not right and didn't see me flying down this slight incline he called a cliff(which is total bull cause he nailed me). The cop called him out on everything and said I wouldn't have done a 180° if he was came to a creeping stop. Verbatim from when the cop said after he had talked to the other driver, "That guy was an ass." ha ha.

I think it's just my camber that messed up but who knows. I'm in the middle of a k-frank build so i'm probably going to stay in the honda family. We'll see what turns up.

A RSX is FWD, there is no axle on the rear wheel.

So after much arguing with the other drivers insurance company and getting nowhere I decided to foot the bill for now for a rental and send the bill to them after i get A) my car back or B) a new car if the adjuster totals it.

I called up enterprise to see what they had in stock.....nothing appealing. This is what i wound up with.

I basically don't have to worry about ever getting laid driving this hog....

man that sucks. hopefully your insurance totals it, but they probably won't...it doesn't look too bad. driving a car that has been in an accident is never the same.

I agree. The insurance company is taking their sweet time but its expected. If they don't even want to give me a rental car I can't imagine they would care about fixing my car in a timely manor.

most likely they will salvage that car... I see them all the time at salvave auction with little damage and for some reason salvage the out.... Good luck hope everything works out for you...

I've seen RSX's with less damage that have been written off... I'd guess there's frame damage if he managed to spin you 180. From what I can see, you'll need at least a new quarter panel and maybe a new trailing arm. If you look under the wheel well, is the upper control arm pushed further in than it should be?
