I am trying to tune the Kpro for my swap into my 96 EK, just seems like you cannot google any of the info on the stock injector size, a bit new at all this but I have everything done, started the car, and it runs good, just idles high and need to get the exhaust done. Seems like the version (supposed to be the newest) of my K manager is not as 'user friendly' as the later version in the disc videos so its a little different. Still a little curious how to tune a Z3 as an A2 when the whole intake mani is a bit different. I did have to put the 04 RSX TB on it to make it all work and get a wire throttle and it works great but the whole RBC intake deal with the higher flow for higher RPM makes me think that tuning it is going to be tricky as for the stock settings on the kmanager for factory RSX is set up for that model fuel trim. It has all been uphill though, and everything seems to fall into place, love the Si motor, less than 20K and sounds feisty as all h*ll. Just wondering if anyone can confirm the stock injectors are 310?? thanks for wasting the time to read this.

I just tuned mine the other day on the highway. The best map to start out with is the 05 type s map. It runs decent just cleaned up the air fuel ratio on the high cam...that map made it way too lean. Best of luck!

and if you take the waffle wafer cover thing off the tips they flow 100c more so research says and experience from me. I did it and they have more of a mist and atomizes betetr
Good info jellybean. I read about this modification of injectors to increase the volume flux, but I never saw a spray pattern of these. Do you have a video or a dyno result to validate it?

there was a long thread about it when kseries got popular.
I think it was blackanddecker that did it. he figure out how remove the tip. grind the edges and the wafer comes off then snap back on the tip. he had it flow tested and they came to 440cc. I did the same thing to mine and programmed it into kpro and it ran great. il look and see though.
the reason Honda did this was for emissions purpose.
