On jhpusa.com they carry the spoon and mugen thermostats and fan switches. my thermostat is broken anyway so might as well get a set, my question is the fan switch they represent will they work for the k series swap. Some say they had to use the fan swtich from the b\d-series engines. you can use the fan switch off and b/d series motor.the switch is all the same..the reason people use the b/d series fan swith is b/c on the dc5/ep3 the fan switch is on the radiator...if you dont buy the radiator from the swap ( which no one hardly does ) the fan switch is still on the radiator...the motor does not have the fan switch/temp sending unit on it... as for a low temp fan switch/thermostat its not pratical to use if tuning with a k-pro or stand alone ecu....also there also can be a idle problem as for the engine never reaches normal operating temp....

you could use something like this:

it's an electronic fan controler, basically, it drives the fan relay and it's adjustable for temp, it fit's in line with 32mm water pipe. I have them made up for the transplants I do.
